Terms & Conditions of Sale (EU)

These Terms & Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) apply to purchases made through the CASA MANGURRINO online store (the “Store”). By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

2) Where we deliver
We ship to European Union (EU) except The canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla, destinations available at checkout. If a location is not serviceable (or has special restrictions), it may not appear as an option.
3) Products (whole pieces, sliced products, olive oil)
We sell gourmet products including whole pieces, sliced/portion formats, and bottled olive oil.
- Artisanal nature: appearance (marbling, color, shape) may vary naturally.
- Images: product photos are illustrative.
- Storage & handling: once delivered, proper storage is your responsibility (follow the storage guidance shown on the product page/label), especially for sliced and vacuum-packed items.
4) How the contract is formed
- You place an order through checkout (this is an offer to buy).
- We acknowledge receipt by email.
- The contract is formed when we accept the order (typically when we confirm dispatch).
We may refuse or cancel orders for justified reasons (e.g., payment issues, suspected fraud, technical/pricing error, or delivery limitations). If we cancel, we will refund amounts paid.
5) Prices, taxes, and invoices
- Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout (typically EUR).
- VAT/taxes are shown according to checkout settings and destination rules.
- Shipping costs (if any) are displayed before payment.
- If an obvious pricing error occurs, we may cancel and refund the order.
6) Payment
Payment methods available at checkout are processed securely via payment providers. CASA MANUGURRINO does not store full card details.
7) Shipping, delivery, and transfer of risk
- Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout and may vary by destination and carrier.
- Please ensure your address and contact details are correct. Failed deliveries due to incorrect data or repeated absence may cause delays and additional costs.
Transfer of risk: in consumer sales where we arrange shipment, the risk of loss/damage passes to you when you (or a person you designate other than the carrier) take physical possession of the goods, in line with EU consumer rules.
8) Check on arrival (important for food & bottles)
Please inspect your parcel upon delivery and contact us as soon as possible if you notice:
- damaged packaging, broken seals, leaking bottles, or visible product damage.
For the fastest resolution, email return@casamangurrino.com with:
- order number, photos of the outer box + inner packaging + product, and a short description.
For carrier claims, reporting quickly is essential—ideally within 48 hours.
9) EU consumer right of withdrawal (14 days) — and exceptions
If you are a consumer, you generally have the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 calendar days from the day you (or your nominee) receives the goods.
However, the law provides important exceptions, including (among others):
- goods made to the consumer’s specifications / clearly personalised,
- goods likely to deteriorate or expire quickly, and
- sealed goods not suitable for return for health/hygiene reasons if unsealed after delivery.
9.1) How this applies at CASA MANGURRINO
- Sliced / portioned products prepared to order (including vacuum-packed sliced formats) are typically made-to-order and/or food-safety sensitive; therefore, the statutory right of withdrawal may not apply once prepared and dispatched, as permitted by the exceptions above.
- Whole pieces: withdrawal generally may apply if the product is returned unaltered (not started/carved), with protective seals/packaging intact where applicable, and in a condition suitable for resale.
- Olive oil bottles: withdrawal generally may apply for unopened, unused bottles returned in their original protective packaging. Opened bottles are typically not returnable for hygiene/quality reasons.

10) Withdrawal procedure (for eligible items)
To withdraw, email return@casamangurrino.com before the 14-day period ends, stating clearly:
- your intention to withdraw, your order number, and the item(s).
You must send the goods back within 14 days from notifying withdrawal.
Return shipping costs: unless we state otherwise, you bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
Packaging requirement (especially bottles): returns must be packed securely to prevent damage/leaks. We may refuse or reduce a refund if damage occurs due to inadequate return packaging.
11) Refunds (for eligible withdrawals)
Where withdrawal applies and is properly exercised:
- We refund payments received for returned items (and standard outbound delivery, where legally required) within 14 days of being informed of withdrawal.
- We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods back or you provide proof of return (whichever is earlier).
Refunds are made using the same payment method unless agreed otherwise.
12) Incorrect, defective, or damaged items
If you receive the wrong item, a defective product, or a parcel clearly damaged in transit, contact return@casamangurrino.com promptly with photos and your order number. We will offer the appropriate remedy (replacement, refund, or other solution) according to consumer law.
13) Legal guarantee (conformity)
Consumers benefit from a legal guarantee of conformity. In Spain, the statutory minimum legal guarantee for new consumer goods has been 3 years since 1 January 2022 (subject to applicable rules and product type).
Nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory rights under EU and national consumer protection laws.
14) Promotions and discount codes
Discount codes and promotions are valid under the conditions shown (dates, product exclusions, stock limits, one-time use). We may cancel benefits in cases of misuse or fraud.
15) Force majeure
We are not liable for delays or non-performance caused by events beyond reasonable control (e.g., carrier disruptions, severe weather, strikes, regulatory measures). When this happens, we will work with you on a fair solution.
16) Complaints and dispute resolution
If you have a complaint, contact us first at return@casamangurrino.com so we can try to resolve it directly.
EU ODR platform notice: the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued and closed as of 20 July 2025.
17) Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer protections and jurisdiction rules applicable to you within the EU will apply.
